The Prodigal Observant

That day, the earth was drenched. The gloomy sky, Dripped drops of purity, The water, untainted Nuzzled my face calmly. Wondering what this feeling evoke, I peered at the world, That stretched above me,  Like a trampoline,  my heart spread its wings The horizon was unseen, The sun lost in tumult. My eyes soared and explored, Only to be mesmerized, By the magnificent play... Of colours that glided, The world above was shielded, With vibrance of love, With a sense of empathy, That challenges perception of man. A pair of birds that flew, Brought me back, The rapidly firing neurons,  were now conscious of the land. The Prodigal observant knew, what the world beneath lacked! Like a new born star, I perplexed  The universe unravelled, It's magic began to seep, In me, Life began to reap. x

Lily in my garden.

Rare are occasions when the heart melts, the deceptive element ends, and the distance between us is more than just a drag of miles. Things that were left unsaid, Feelings that were untold, And memories that couldn't be formed. My mind ponders whether it was meant to be; For you to get to know me. Or was it meant to be, For my repressed heart, To open up and fly, To invite you to peep, In the deepest nooks Of my broken heart. Rare are occasions when the mind settles, With just a stir of cheer, That these dragged miles, Can be flown in and out. That, Things will be said, Feelings shared, And a lifetime of memories , Waiting to be formed. Like the Lily in my garden, I live every day, I don't even care, that the day might end. Because the Lily in my garden, Tells me everyday.... " Fight for life, fight for love, and fight for every person, Who you know, Is just right"

All things beautiful; All things RED

Image
Red ants marching to the working site, Red dwarf star twinkling bright at night. Red haired woman walking down the street, Red wavy hair kissing her neck so neat. Red cherries plumping red lips, Red wine swirling and twirling hips. Red sun that reddens the sky, Red dahlias that see sparks fly. Red boots and red umbrella, jumping on rainy days; Red rubies dazzling, as long as the Queen's diadem stays. Red corals guiding divers deep, Red maple leaves swaying in autumn wind. Red spectacles that went missing in the end, Red chillies and tomatoes lusciously draping spaghetti red. All things beautiful, All things red. Just like the Red diamond, Oh! So rare. Song of Love? Or Birches of Escape?

Image
Y ou paint a pretty picture, Like the glimmer of lilac, Across our dull pink sky. The passerines, flying high; The kites, higher. Little birds that spot, berries atop. I see them now. I want to sit with you, Amidst the Birch trees, On the archaic wooden bench, That grins on our backs; While we sing, The song of love. LOVE, that is different, the one that gives courage. COURAGE, to escape the pansies of this world, to walk tall, like theses birches in the Garden of our Love. Let us take a stroll, You and I, walk with the woodland, Till the sun downs in gold. Come back later,   To the moonless sky,   where the stars shine and   so do our eyes;   where the bareness of the bench,   Concealed;   But that of our hearts,   Revealed.

The Wooden Coffee Table.

Image
Of baked biscuits and toasty marshmallows, Of hot soup and finger food, Of fallen leaves and dewy trees, Of frozen lakes and cozy wakes, Of warm sips of coffee and warmth of melted toffee. There were endless tales. Of love filled embraces and bittersweet tattles Of spiteful gestures and overdue caresses Of unsaid words and long lasting letters, Of genteel chivalry and pillow fight rivalry, Of a million novels and novice writers. There were endless tales. Amongst; Loveless bickers and flawless lovers, Friendships and new found admirers, Wildflowers and a bouquet of dasies, Laughters and unshed tears, Old fables and tender insults, Stood the coffee table. Forlorn mysteries it carved, Under it's wood it smiled, Gazed at the chair and whispered, "Tell my stories to your visitors, Tell them, they need not surrender. For they are not alone, There were many who wondered and wondered."

Chaos

There is a glitch in the cosmos Like a Ticking time bomb Run towards the end, Try not blend. Broken glasses that hamper vision Shattered houses that scream in unison! Where are we heading? Bustle but not hustle There is rain, It sometimes, might just be a pain! Wasn't there a favourite song? Which no more rings a gong. Weren't there plans of youth? That all went South. Your universe may pause, but the parallel one might survive Hold onto to your cause, Your soul might revive. There is Mayhem we can't pass. A mind full of chaos, Just like the glitch in the cosmos.

Sonder

1,2,3 STOP says the sign of RED. 20 seconds of pause; In life ,without loss. The momentum staggers to stop Cranky men don't like to halt. Adjusting her braid, the little girl rests; on her father's back, she finds a cozy nest. Soundless bickering of newlyweds, Are they wondering about the bedspread! Doesnt lie, does it? The clean window glass of a shiny bright car. Donning his hat, grumpy gram looks dapper, I ponder, if he hates the same rapper. Oh, look a dream catcher... Alas! A fellow hopeless dreamer. Restless feet and restless fingers, Unpaid bills of spendthrifters, In sync go our mindless jitters. Are they tired of running, just like me, are they glooming? Are we all in the same race, just a mild difference in pace! And, 1,2,3. GET READY hints the glinty YELLOW. Unsaid problems and unknown solutions, Mighty humans hit their starters, Ignited engines roar together, A melody of mutual supporters. 1,2,3. GO says the growing GREEN, Familiar bo...
